The movie "Five Feet Apart" leads by Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson.

"Five Feet Apart"is an up-coming movie. However, I have already read the book, and I like it a lot. It's about two patients of " cystic fibrosis" who are in love but cannot touch each other because of this disease. These two patients, are Stella Grant and Will Newton.

Even though Stella is a CF patient, she lives positively and she wants to stay alive. She uses social media to cope with her illness and tries to live a normal life. Her parents started running a divorce since there was an accident happened to her sister, Abby. Ever since that, Stella needed to be strong and stay alive so her parents don't lose another daughter. Stella soon became a perfect person who always does her treatments and follows the rules.

Will Newton, on the other hand, is not that obedience. He got the bacteria inflection (B cepecia) in his lung, which is even worse for a CF patient. You don't get to transplant with B cepecia. Will is negative and avoid to do his treatment.

Stella notices that Will isn't strictly doing his treatment and asks him to start following his regimen. They make a deal that they will do their treatments together, and in return, Will gets to draw Stella.

As the pair grow closer, after Stella revealed her sister's accident to Will, She decides not to let being a CF patient take over her life anymore and "takes one foot back", keeping five feet away from Will at all times by holding one end of a pool cue. Will and Stella begin to fall for each other and secretly have their first date. The next day, Stella creates a scavenger hunt for Will's birthday, which catches him by surprise. Stella leads him to a room with all of their friends for a surprise dinner party.

After Poe's death (Poe is Stella best friend who also got CF) , Stella heart broke, she realizes that she has been living her life too strictly. She convinced Will, together they leave the hospital to see the lights from the city. For the first time, they actually touch each others.

The story ends when Stella got her transplant, and Will decides to leave because he wants Stella to live longer. He doesn't want to infect her with his B cepecia. However, before he left, he setup a display of lights outside of her room, saying that his only regret was that she did not get to see the lights so he brought them to her. Will walked away while Stella was watching the drawing he made for her.

This movie tells us the importance of human touch, and how love works without touching each others. Most importantly, with this movie, People get to know more about cystic fibrosis, and we know how to help with CF patient.
