Chocolate sticks ---Pocky, Pepero or City NO1

POCKY

Pocky is the Japanese brand of biscuit sticks produced by Ezaki Glico. It was first sold in 1966, consists with chocolate coat. Now, there are productions of strawberry, almond , green tea, and many different flavors. Pocky is now very popular in the world. It's one of the favorite snacks of all the kids and teenagers. Ezaki also produce another brand, pretz. Unlike Pocky, Pretz are mostly in salty flavors, such as tomato, pizza,BBQ.

PEPERO

Pepero is the Korean brand of chocolate sticks, manufactured by Lotte Company since 1983. It's similar to Pocky. In my opinion, the only difference is the flavors. Pepero produces the flavor with almonds. It makes the sticks more tasty. Also, Pepero was endorsed by Korean famous K-pop band EXO. This attract most of their fans, and consumers have more desire to buy it.

CITY NO 1

City No 1 is another biscuit sticks made by Taiwanese in 1993. It is simpler and not so special. There are only 2 flavors: chocolate and strawberry. It's thinner and less sweet. However, City No 1 has lower price than the other two. It only costs 18 NT, which is half the price of Pocky. Therefore, the consumers may concern about the ingrediants of the snacks,and less people will want to buy it.

I THINK...

In my opinion, I like Pepero more. It's not so sweet as Pocky, and it's not so thin like City No 1. Pepero has varieties in flavor, and a special package. It's the best cookie sticks i have ever had. I an looking forward to the new flavor that Pepero might produce.
